Photo Theme:

The photo centers on a man and woman dressed in Kenyan attire by Katush, symbolizing romance, strength, and African unity through their bond. It reflects the reality of cultural pride and connection.

Photo Story:

When I met Katush I had an idea at the time about a romance story between two Kenyan identities, she was fascinated with the idea she gave me team and resources to fulfill the intent the way I had it all planned out in my head. We took a whole day to complete the photo story in collaboration with my style of imagery and her original clothing designs crafted in Nairobi Kenya.

How long has Erick Muiruri loved photography:

For about 6 years now. Since I graduated high school I’ve had a strong interest in developing artworks through photography.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

I have a background in visual arts and picked up photography as a 4th medium of art in the 10th grade of high school ever since then I’ve been focused on sharpening my visual identity through photography.

1. "The Master at Photos Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by BTechnologies Enterprises Limited. An Organization acting in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "Master at Photos Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "Master at Photos Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Brand New Mirrorless Camera + A Golden Luxe Plaque + a Monetary award of KSh150,000 (One Fifty Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of KSh50,000 (Fifty Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of KSh30,000 (Thirty Thousand Kenyan Shillings only)

5. Winners of "Master at Photos Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is KSh30 (Thirty Kenyan Shillings only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://masteratphotos.ke/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "Master at Photos Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "Master at Photos Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.
