About Jacktone Oduor 's work:
Photo Theme:
It communicates: Confidence – the person is directly engaging the viewer through the lens Creativity & art – capturing moments, storytelling through images Focus & purpose – the camera becomes the center of attention Youthful energy – bright colors and a lively outdoor setting give a vibrant feel. “Seeing the world through a creative lens.”
Photo Story:
Shot at Mylili Gardens, this image represents more than just a moment,it represents consistency in passion even without recognition.
This was part of my personal marketing strategy. Not to show perfection, but to show authenticity. I wanted people to see that photography is not something I’m trying,it’s something I live and practice, even when no one is watching.
In a quiet space surrounded by nature, I chose to turn the camera on myself, not for attention, but to send a message:
👉 “I am the brand. I am the creative. And I am already doing the work.”
This photo tells the story of a young photographer who doesn’t wait for validation, clients, or big opportunities to start.
He creates, improves, and shows up anyway.
Because sometimes, the real growth happens in the seasons where no one is clapping.
How long has Jacktone Oduor loved photography:
Since the age of 10years
How they discovered their passion for photography:
When I was a kid back then in the year 2013 I used to take photographs using my mom's phone, it was analogue phone (kaduda)later on when my mom upgraded to smart phone I started upgrading my skills of taking photos, adjusting brightness and since then I've been not only taking photos but taking memories.
