About Kelsey Webb's work:
Photo Theme:
The beauty of a moment
Photo Story:
I took this photo when we went to visit my grandma. At the time she lived in an apartment that was on the second story and I was on her balcony just watching the people below, then I looked over to the horizon and saw this sunset. I love sunsets because they remind me of the fragility and fleeting nature of a single moment. It`s beauty exists for just a moment then it`s gone. It`s a reminder that we have to value the now even as we chase a better future
How long has Kelsey Webb loved photography:
I`ve loved photography since I was in High school particularly when I got to form 4. I used to watch so many videos online on photo editing and landscape photography, but at the time I had to focus on my exam. Once I had finished my KCSE exam, I started taking photographs on my phone and editing them on Adobe Lightroom and posting them on Instagram.
How they discovered their passion for photography:
I have always had a passion for anything art related, but I realized that I love photography in Form 4 when my school art class had a trip to Tafaria Castle. During that trip, my Art teacher gave me her new iPhone to take some pictures and I took some amazing pictures and thought to myself, "I would love to do more of this in the future". I loved it so much because it captures moments and gives you an opportunity to take it all in especially when I feel like life`s moving too quickly.
